Wedding Stationery The wedding stationery you use will make a large impact on the smooth running of your wedding day. From initial contact with your guests through to thanking them for their support. The design and text content will set you apart from other events and weddings, by being tailored for your perfect day. Our wedding stationery designs include wedding and evening invitations, orders of service, thank you cards and place cards. Wedding Invitations A wedding invitation is sent to each guest or guest group at least 6 weeks before the planned wedding date. This is the invitation to the main wedding celebration and reception. This will allow time confirming the number of guests that will be coming. using your invite list, decide how many invitation cards you require. Remember, you are likely to ruin some as you write them, you are likely to send more out than initially expected, and don't forget that you may want some as a keepsake. Ordering extra to begin with is a lot cheaper than ordering more later - and you will not have to wait. If you are going to use reply cards, you will need the same number as the invitations. You choose the words to use on your invitations, but we can help you with this if required. Order of Service An order of service is generally used for a church service. Each guest will require an order of service, so will other participants such as a choir, Clergy, musicians and any others involved. The content will normally be decided in consultation with the Clergy involved, and will include music, hymns, and reading references. The order of service must include all text that guests need to fully participate in the service. An order of service is printed on one or more sheets inserted into the order of service card. One insert sheet is recommended, if two are used this involves greater cost and time to process. Reception Place Cards A wedding place card is placed on the tables at the main wedding reception to identify the seating position of all your guests. Each place card is separately printed with the name of the guest, of blank to allow you to write them yourself. Not all our designs have place cards available, so choose carefully. We recommend you order additional blank place cards. Evening Invitations "Evening" invitations are sent to guests invited to the additional more informal wedding celebrations, which are not always in an evening nowadays. These invitations are sent out at a similar time to the main wedding invitations, or just after in case you decide to include some of these guests in the main wedding day events. The guest list will be much larger than the main invitations, and generally include a much wider circle of friends and work colleagues. It is common for many hundreds to be invited to the evening celebrations. Thank you cards Our thank you cards are blank inside to allow you to write a short message to your guests thanking them for gifts and presents, and also informing them of any new address and contact details. Other stationery We are able to help with other wedding related stationery, such as a reception seating plan printed on large paper or card, a wedding information sheet. |
